Love these selections (especially the people lined up on the scaffolding) and your explanation of why and what compels you to do this. We share similar approaches to the process.
Love this mindset, Shital. And, it is more sustainable too as the desire is within rather than something exterior like gear. Saul Leiter said something like you don’t need to travel far to have great pictures. Keep doing what you believe is true in your heart when it comes to photography. It’s much more deeper and meaningful!
Absolutely! Agree with you Stella. I recently watched a film on Saul Leiter “In No Great Hurry” on the Dark Room Rumour platform. Felt so inspired. Thanks much for reading! It means a lot to me.
The net offers so much potential - I am excited to see the possibilities! Love that incredible shot of person on top of person on top of person (and so on) on the scaffolding - wow.
Gorgeous, Shital! I'm sorry about the net, and yet I really like that photo as well. It tells a different story than it would without the net, but the story is just as important. I like both your color photos and the black and white ones, but I have to say this time I especially love the one with the truck and all the people riding on top. The colors just jump right up and demand to be noticed.
Thanks so much Cherie. The truck one is special. I waited for days to get it right as the trucks would just zip past or I would be in a meeting. Soon I realised what time of the day they came onto my side of the road. These trucks are full of vegetables and the people on them are either vegetable sellers or help transport them.
Love the photography and the whole concept of Ikigai
Thanks very much Richard.
Your pictures are amazing! I am indeed forced to engage with them. Hats off to your passion and resilience.
Thanks so much Rekha for the support always.
I really like this way of thinking Shital. Congratulations, just focus on your art!
Thanks a ton Xavi!

I’m with “perfect light) … shooting through the net adds its own unique perspective plus it will come down one day : ) I love your vision/images.
Thank you so much Nolan. I might just do it :)

Thanks much Diana. Since many have said this I guess I will give a shot!!
I love these urban photos! I spend so much time in my rural area, these are delightful!
Happy that you like them Pamela. And I love the rural as well.
You are a master of both urban and nature. Your eye is impeccable. Throughly enjoyed see this other side of your talent.
Thanks so much Monica. Yes I do enjoy doing both!
The trite, trivial, and mundane provide great subjects for the savvy shooter. See William C. Crawford. https://www.apogeephoto.com/forensic-foraging-embraces-minimalist-throwback-techniques-to-unlock-an-evolving-photographic-genre/
I agree William. Thanks for the link. Will definitely check it out.

Thank you Leanna!
Great photos, Shital! I love the perspective and agree with other commenters that you should “embrace the net”.
