Your monochromes are wonderful and I am fascinated with black and white images which tell stories with more emotion. I especially like the images where birds are sitting on powerlines.
Love your photographs. Yesterday, there was a breeze. I watched as birds seemed to soar gracefully on the wind currents. Up and down. It was amazing like your pictures.
Great! A landscape of unexpected beauty, indeed! The last photo of all those birds on the wire reminded me of that Hitchock film, The Birds. Except yours seem friendly, and his were angry. :)
Shital, I loved reading this and the photos are so magical. These lines stood out to me: "I think birds give me the joyous dose of the nowness of life. I find their energy, animation and movement inspiring."
Did you ever stop to think that we humans--with our high power wires, skyscrapers and smokestacks spewing-who-knows-what into the air--may be encroaching on the birds' space? mmmm
True, but feels like they have made peace with it and continue in spaces they have made their own. And somewhere that’s the beauty about this whole urban and nature connection. But I know what you mean it’s just cement everywhere I live. But not yet as bad as other cities in India. Thanks much Ernest.
Beautiful share. Thank you, Shital! 🤍
Thanks much for reading!

I agree with KewtieBird...a great series for a zine, I particularly like the first and last images...so graphic!

Such fun compositions of all of the birds in the area! While also not a birder, I love watching birds too.

I love that the thoughts and intention produced more bird images so over time you have a wonderful series to share.
