I love this: “I like to have the curiosity of a seeker. I feel that when I do this, I discover the unconditional joy of an honest photographic endeavour.” Seeking always leads to shedding of the ego and hence we stumble upon downright honesty, I thought. Lovely pictures!
Your photography brings a kind of stillness to cherish and savor. Your words resonate with thoughts of my childhood and I'm hooked. I'm so glad I found your account.
Monsoon season brings such beautiful pictures, Shital. Wayanad is so lush. And thank you for sharing your reflection— I love reading them along with your photographs.
Beautiful photography. Just transported me to a different world. I think i should packy bags very soon. Badly in need of the tranquility, so totally tempted by the idea. Thanks for writing, shital. It connects me to another world of possibility that I may or may not visit but brings me peace that such a world exist, maybe not to far, maybe just a thought away.
Thank you for reading Ipsita. I understand how you feel as I am in that place many a times. Writing and taking photographs gives me some peace of mind when I feel stuck in between the chaos of life. Wayanad is beautiful at some point you should see it. And yes the places we want to be at are just a thought away! And what a relief that itself is. Hugs!
Shital, you have transposed into words that quietness that erupts in an emotional connection while observing and seeing again, as from the eyes of a child. I also find myself re-living feelings of childlike wonder when photographing. Perhaps that is part of its attraction to so many people. Congratulations on a wonderful series with poignant reflections.
Such beautiful photographs and meaningful words to go with it. I, myself, right now feel a calmness and joy. It is something I really needed. So thank you so very much!
Great piece, with such beautiful photographs. Wonderful captures, Shital. The green, the clouds & fog, the people, the birds. Thank you for writing and sharing.

And I feel immense joy by looking at your photos. The one with the reflection of the person in the water should be framed.
